Netflix - Stranger Things Season 3 Premiere & Fun Fair
Where: Santa monica pier, Los Angeles
Season 3 of the Netflix series was to be the first time the show was set in the summer, so for premiere they wanted to embrace that summer energy and fun by letting fans experience the summer of 1985!
Over a long weekend before the fourth of July we took over part of the Santa Monica Pier and transformed it into ‘Mayer Kline’s Fun Fair’ as featured in the upcoming season. A truly immersive experience
Activations included a custom penny press, classic carnival games, themed stage entertainment, a LEGO make and take & community build mosaic wall, screen printed tote bags, a dunk tank, 80’s fashion photo booth, Scoops Ahoy ice cream truck, an Upsidedown inspired funhouse and so many snap-able moments! All free to fans who stopped by.
The creative team went to great lengths to ensure all fair elements were not only on brand but also time period correct…down to the soundtrack!
Opening night of the Fun Fair saw cast, crew and VIPS attend a fun filled night of games, rides, food and dancing in a house of mirrors!
